Arab citizen living in Israel. (+) gap between Jewish and Arab towns and villages. My village is always labelled as a violence village and is underfunded comparing with Jewish. (+) as a result trash not in right place can be seen, no recycling trash pin. And lack of awareness of living green friendly environment. 2. General points: (+) in high school specialised in Computer Science and Biology and excelled grades, in 2014 I was in a maze after graduating high school and not knowing what I want to study in the University. (+) * in this passage you can state the effects of human activities on environment * In 2014 I decided volunteering at the only Wildlife Hospital in Israel in the Safari. During my volunteering we had tremendous number of animals that were injured because of human activities etc.. that made me think out of the bubble and many questions were raised on my head, this year changed my life completely because through volunteering I knew what I want to do for whole of my life and be environmental scientist thus I started thinking of studying biology (reasons why chose biology) 3. Biology science & Job; (+) Reasons why I chose biology; Biology science is very wide and can expand my knowledge in macro image such as environment, and micro knowledge such as understanding cells functions etc.. (+) started studying Biology Science (BSc.) at Tel-Aviv University (+) While studying in the university I had an offer to work at the Zoological Centre Safari as a guide educating groups of all ages in wildlife welfare, nature conservation, green environment and animals, after every session I knew that I have to do something to make our earth better. 4. Job (+) 2 years after working as a guide in the Safari, I had an offer from the head of the carnivore department to be a zookeeper. (+) Many people are unaware of the importance of zoo - its beyond entertainment, many species wouldn’t be in the wild without zoos around the world * emphasising zoo’s goals *. (+) gained trust quickly from the head of the department and had the honour to be part of EAZA projects and to take care endangered animals such as Sumatran Tigers and Komodo dragon. Including training Komodo dragon for research purposes. (+) Here you can interconnect environment, biology with the my job zoo. 5. Graduation & NGO (+) upon my graduation in 2019 I had an offer to be part of NGO called Little, Big Science (lbscience.org) that include many talented scientists from Israel that specialised in many majors. “pointing out the NGO’s purpose - look link below and what we do” Read about the NGO in the following link: (https://lbscience.org/מי-אנחנו/) (+) in Facebook alone the NGO has 140k followers. (+) Today I'm leading the Arabic section in the NGO, expanding our activities in the Arab sector locally and globally. Including raising awareness in environmental subjects. (+) How is the NGO as well as the job can fit in my future objectives and previous training. 6. Environmental Management: (+) Whats environmental management in brief, purposes. (+) Reasons why I chose this major and specialisation and how its going to help me. (+) future plans; - divide into short and long term plans ; after looking up sadly didn’t find any environment scientist in the arabic sector, raising awareness about green environment. - elevate my career further, acting locally. - as digital creator (graphic designer + app programer) I want to (+) How American University can help me pursue future plans. http://lbscience.org https://lbscience.org/%D7%9E%D7%99-%D7%90%D7%A0%D7%97%D7%A0%D7%95/ 7. Brief story of myself; - I love animals since I was little, my passionate increased during my biology classes. Once in English class I stated that I want to work with animals everyone laughed expecting from me to have a ‘successful passion’ such as computer programmer, doctor or lawyer. After high school I applied to be zookeeper in the Safari and got rejected, so I started volunteering there in the wildlife hospital, one year after I was offered to be a guide tour 2 years after offered to be a zookeeper at the carnivore department, while studying biology science in tel-aviv university. Today I train and manage the carnivore department working with leopards, bears, tigers and more. Its time to elevate my career and inspire young students that they can be whatever they want and to be the first ever environment scientist in the Arab sector. Act locally and globally. 8. Special Accomplishments and extracurricular actives; - Appearance on TV and Radio; raising awareness about animal welfare, environmental subjects. (Kan11 channel, Kan Radio, Ashams Radio). For future plans this is a great opportunity for me to use these platforms to talk more about environmental subjects. - I was able to travel many countries only from packing light and finding low offers (hostels etc..) one of the greatest solo travels was when I flew to China for 3 weeks by myself. - Self-taught programmer, graphic designer and video editor; future plan is to create digital content to inspire people around the Arab world about how important to keep our planet safe. - I programmed an iOS app. - extracurricular activities Socially active, Co-Founder of AAJ (academics association in Jaljulia for inspiring young high schools to enter high education). We make many events, activities etc.. - (In 2018 got accepted to scholarship) Global UGRAD Alumni; had the chance to study at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan State for one semester during my undergraduate studying. One of the classes that made me love environment science even more is Terrestrial Ecology, this class I wouldn’t forget even the professor asked me to to design a t-shirt for the whole class. General Notes: * points not necessarily should be by order nor used all * I tried to put as many information as possible about myself, please use high language. * Make a sense paragraphs that will interact the reader. * No copying from other sources, and since this document has some private information im expecting from you not to share with anyone else. (Thanks for your understanding) * Attached a sample of somebody’s else essays you can take a look at it.
