By signing up as a Freelancer at Tutlance.com, you agree to abid by all terms of service at all times. Here are some finer details.

  • You have the required qualifications, credentials and expertise to offer answers, instruction and materials, and that any credentials you post are accurate, truthful, complete, and not misleading;
  • You will not use the Services for any business other than for providing tutoring, teaching and instructional services to registered Users;
  • Any attempt to 'fish' or 'source direct clients' from Tutlance in any form or kind will result to witholding of any unpaid earnings.
  • You will not engage in any activity that will require Tutlance to obtain any licenses from or pay any royalties to any third party, including, by way of example and not limitation, the payment of royalties for the public performance of any musical works or sound recordings;
  • You agree to resolve all disputes within 12 hours. Otherwise, your account will be penalized and or higher commision fees imposed.
  • You will respond to Users seeking your services in a timely fashion, so as to ensure quality of service to Users;
  • If you are under the age of 18, but are qualified to be a Freelancer, you will obtain parental or legal guardian permission as and when needed, and before registering with the Services; and
  • If you are in a jurisdiction where any form of instructing requires a license, credential, certification or other form of governmental or third party license, consent, authorization or permission, you shall not use the Services as a Freelancer until such license, consent, authorization or permission has been obtained.
  • You agree that you are not an employee or agent of Tutlance. Tutlance acts as an intermediary between you as a Freelancer and the Client User.
  • You must have a minimum of $50 in your balance to make a withdrawal.
  • It is illegal to purchase a Tutlance account. All accounts believed to have purchased or transferred in such a manner will be terminated without payments.
  • As a marketplace, we try to keep our operations as low as possible. Therefore, we have only two chanels of communication with freelancers: Email and support tickets
  • How do I contact the support if I need any help?

    What is an average payment?

    Tutlance is a freelance marketplace and all payments are agreed between the client and expert . We only charge a commission indicated on your account when work has been approved by the expert. Our commisions ranges from 30% to 50%.

    Is there a minimum withdrawal amount limit?

    You can only withdraw amounts from $50.

    How often can I withdraw my earnings?

    All earnings for approved projects are available for withdrawal on: 1st to 3rd and 17th to 19th of every month .

    How long does withdraws take?

    Withdrawal requests may take up-to 3 days to be processed. For approved requests, it can take up to 5 business days for funds to reach your account.

    What are the withdrawal charges?

    For paypal and US local bank transfers, a fee of $5 is charged per withdrawal. International Bank transfers will cost your $25. Payoneer charges will be $5 per transaction.

    How can I add a withdrawal method?

    Go to your profile to add a new payment method. To update an existing withdrawal method, kindly create a support ticket.

    What Fines and Levies can a tutor expect?

    As a marketplace, we try to minimize instances where users suffer financial loss. As a tutor you will be fined (up to 60%) for refunds and chargebacks resulting from the failure to act in a professional manner or any act that is deemed to jeopardize Tutlance or any users on the marketplace.

    What are the available modes of payments?

    Depending on the expert physical location, the methods will vary. Basic methods include: Cheques, Apple Pay, Paypal, and Bank Transfers .

    Can I chat with clients on Whatsapp, personal email or redirect them to another site?

    No . It is prohibited to share personal information including contacts with any client . If discovered both accounts are suspended and expert may end up losing their unpaid earnings.
